  • Great place, not connected to the mainline. Packed full of wagons and carriages and a several locomotives, some operational. Plenty of interesting displays and bits and bobs to wander amongst. Ticket includes a short train ride down their track past farmland and some sidings. Highlights for me were the Canadian boxcar, the switching tower and the various memorabilia such as old lamps and ticket stamping machines. Well worth a visit.
  • Always have a great time here 😁
  • A great place to spend half a day.
  • What a fab place ..me and my family loved it!
  • This place is without a doubt mindblowing. A large assortment of locomotives, both steam and diesel. Furthermore there are 2 huge undercover museums displaying every type of memorabilia, many items long forgotten like platform equipment, tickets, crockery, badges, and much more. There is also an exhibition of fire brigade equipment, track repair equipment and trollys etc. There is a London Underground carriage with an opportunity to sit in the cab as well as a whole lot of Underground items. There are various horse drawn carts, platform trolleys, and more. If your interest is American, French or Canadian rail there's also a space for you. When you go allow plenty of time to indulge your passion for all things rail. Light refreshments served in a vintage carriage. What more can you want? Enjoyed my visit!
