  • Booked a hack on a Saturdays afternoon, woke up in the morning to snow! As one of us had never ridden decided it would be better to postpone to better conditions! When booking was told I had to make p...  more »
  • Worst stables ever visited, which is a shame as great forest location. Owner was rude, being rude and patronising to a customer on the phone in ear shot of customers on site. She was equally rude and ...  more »
  • I took a punt as very much a novice rider and booked a two hour hack for me and my fiancé. This was easy to organise and the lady on the phone was very friendly. We were leant helmets and footwear (mi...  more »
  • Disappointing attitude by some of the staff. Bad and very grumpy language in front of small children. Poor time keeping and management. Disappointing and unnecessarily upsetting attitude to mildly disabled child. The New Forest and the weather was beautiful.
  • Thanks for great horse riding experience! We went for the 2 hour trek on Kipling and Billy who were both very calm natured which was excellent for us as we were both nervous riders. Saw the amazing new forest wildlife and would highly recommend
  • Best riding stables ever!!!😃
  • Sadly, a very disappointing experience! we booked as a group of experienced riders, expecting a ride through the new forrest with trot and canters... NOT THE CASE! after having to pay in full in advance, (and having to wait an extra hour) we were put in a massive group of beginners where the horses did nothing but follow the one in front. We saw lots of houses and very little forest. the horses were blatantly tired from being ridden all day and when it was time for the advanced riders to go for a canter, three of them wouldn't go any faster than a trot. all in all very disappointing. even my nine year old daughter said that it was sooooo boring...when we spoke to the manager about it her only suggestion was to come back and pay double for a longer ride! Needless to say we certainly won't be, she refuted the fact that the horses had been ridden all day and were tired even though her staff out on the ride had said just that.
  • I am a rider with over 40 years experience but following a serious riding accident, I had not ridden for nearly 3 years until a recent visit to these stables. I was given a lovely safe horse who although a little slow , was a perfect Gent and gave me back my nerve. I am very grateful to the staff & my mount for the genuine care shown to me. I hope you to go back soon and try a different horse. All the animals looked very well cared for and I would recommend the stables to all abilities.
