Ryton Pools Country Park Reviews
We went in Half term Hols & it was packed. I would suggest at theses times under 4s might find it all a bit boisterous but the rest were having a ball. Pirate play area with climbing frames & slides &... more »

Great park that provides fun for all the family. There is a brilliant playground, a cafe, visitors centre, train rides and lots of opportunities for walks and bike rides. Only the steep £3.50 parking charge prevents me giving 5 stars. If you are local however you can get an annual parking pass that works out cheaper.
Great country park. Entry is free but you have to pay for parking. The park includes lakes trails, 2 playgrounds, cafe and miniature railway (not open every day) Definitely worth a visit
Nice place for a wander. Does get busy....watch out for kids on bikes and recumbent MTB's....they are like flies! Nice den building area and s good adventure playground. £3.50 to park (Pay and display)
Great day for the kids with a pond to feed the ducks, and swimming baths for all to enjoy. If you want a nice relaxing walk there are plenty of fields to walk round also dog friendly.
Nice place to go. I and the family took our dog out for the day and came here. It was slightly overcast but dry. Parking charges are £3.50 but that's for the whole day. Their is a cafe which serves really good food and their is an information centre. Their is two or three walks around the site. All easy going. Play area for the kids on one of the routes. Also on site is a miniature railway. It wasn't running that day due to maintenance. All in all its a lovely place to go.
