A good family day out, lovely animals and the children can run and get very close. Just the only bad thing is that you must pay additionally for animal feed in addition to the entrance price. The feed... read more »
Huge disappointment for the whole family especially my 4 year old when visiting today. Very little to see at this time of year (Feb half term) and what there was it was impossible to see through the crowds. Animals not interested in the feed we had bought as they'd already been stuffed full but that didn't stop the farm continuing to sell it. The discounted winter price was still a complete waste of money given it was a practically empty farm. My son was hugely disappointed and by the time we had gone there and back the whole morning had been wasted. We have enjoyed the farm in the summer but won't be going back as they are just milking money out of people at this time of year and were extremely rude to my husband (in front of our 4 year old) when he discussed the lack of animals with them. Never again.
I have just spent a very pleasant morning feeding the animals at Xmas Tree Farm with my 21 month old daughter. I will definitely make another visit.
Nicest farm I have ever been to, a traditional family day out. The kids love it and get to buy buckets of food to feed the animals. Can't rate it highly enough.
The animals are great! Guaranteed loads of funny pictures, especially of the cows and llamas. If you hold the food up as if you are about to throw it in their mouths, then they pull the funniest faces. I took two autistic 8 year olds there and they loved it, buy a couple of buckets of food and it is great for a couple of hours. It's nothing fancy, but a lovely place to go.
i go once a month with out fail!! love love love this farm!
