  • I state that I have not visited the Castle from within. The price seemed high and didn't find it a castle that I took as much as others in the mainland. In any case, it is placed in a park in nothing short of wonderful with animals and wild mushrooms on the grass. A smell of wet forest yummy. I went around the Park from the back of the parking lot without getting into the ticket office. It was a wonderful day. I propose a couple of photos of that day started raining but as always when I'm in Scotland, turns into a beautiful sunny day

  • This was the first time I have been able to take my grandchildren to the gardens and share with them the magical Bavarian Summerhouse. Unfortunately the castle was closed on the day we visited.
  • Walked the gardens with our dog.. nice walk up along the goat fell trail and down a forrest track.. looping from and returning to the car park.

  • Great day out. Lots to do with the castle tour made fun for the children by a special bogle hunt and informative display cards The grounds are extensive and a great place to see wild red squirrel. Don't miss the bavarian summer house.
  • I loved the segment were the rooms would be themed progressively older as you journey through the tour. Century by century.
  • £12.50 per adult. Too expensive. Take the left hand side path instead of the castle on the right and you can walk up goatfell for absolutely nothing. Free natural views and spend the saved money on a lovely meal at brambles grill down the road.
  • Impressive site with helpfull guides. Gardens are well worth a visit.
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff in nearly every room. Expensive entry but gives access to the Castle and quite large gardens.
