Shaun Foggett founded crocodiles of the World in 2011. Shaun’s passion for crocodiles led him to found the UK’s first and only crocodile zoo. Crocodiles of the World’s mission is to study, celebrate and protect the diversity of crocodiles and their habitats.Put Crocodiles of the World on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Brize Norton trip planner.
Set within the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, Crocodiles of the World is an experience unlike any other. Nowhere else but here will you have the opportunity to see such a wide collection of crocodiles, alligators and caimans - more than 100 animals from 14 different species of crocodilian.
A new experience for our visitors, Crocodiles of the World recently moved into a new home near Brize Norton approximately 3.4 miles from Burford. Today, the zoo has undergone a dramatic transformation that includes new exhibits designed to mimic the crocodiles’ natural habitat, enhanced facilities for visitors, and even more contributions to environmental and wildlife education, research, and conservation.
Our new address is Burford Road, Brize Norton, Oxfordshire OX18 3NX. We're easy to get to and there's free parking at the main entrance.
From 14 February 2014, Crocodiles of the World is now open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm all year round including Bank Holidays; we are closed on Christmas Day. Tickets are available to book online or may be purchased on arrival.
Last entrance to the zoo is half an hour before closing.
Crocodiles of the World offer a range of events, from educational guided tours to birthday parties for all ages. Our keeper for a day experiences give you the chance to spend half a day behind the scenes with our keepers as they care for, train and feed the crocodiles.
Crocodiles of the World has been the subject of television programmes in the past. Discovery Channel UK and Channel 5 broadcast a three-part documentary, Croc Man, in 2011.

A most interesting collection of crocodiles , alligators and other reptiles. Well explained and laid out. A lick of paint wouldn't go amiss here and there but it is better the money be spent on the animals as it must cost a small fortune to feed the animals and maintain their enclosures. This is my second visit with my young grandchildren and they were mesmerized. I applaud the owner and staff for their conservation work and genuine love for these creatures. Long may they continue.

Brilliant place to go. We have been a few times and always enjoy it. Not as big as most people expect but if you take your time and watch the feeds and talks you can spend the whole day there. Also a great price.

Really good day out, you get so close to the crocodiles, and watching the feeding of the crocodiles is fun. My children had they photo taken with a baby crocodile. Nice coffee shop but on the small side. Lots of wasps around the day we went that's something that really needs looking into. You can book feeding the animals. Look on line

Absolute value for money. I’ve been a few times, it has doubled in size since my first visit, but the price has remained very similar. Great for kids as a lot of the exhibits are eye level. Very friend staff. Awesome feeding displays and great photography opportunities. I will be going again.

Absolutely amazing. They have an incredible range of reptiles and they all all in wonderful enclosures and taken very good care of. The employees are super friendly and have lots of information to share about the animals! Can't wait to go back.
