  • Not on the Stonehenge scale but still an impressive historical site of, mostly, standing stones spread out in 2 or 3 fields. Don't miss the three even more ancient stones up near the church where ther...  more »

  • Kind of fun. The cove wasn't really a thing. So don't expect a cove. But the arrangement of the stones was very interesting and quite unusual compared to other stone 'circles'. This was more like three circles and then there was yet another field of smaller stones with a fantastic view. There's also cool loooking picturesque farm items and natural textures strewn about the place so I can really recommend this venue for a photographer.
  • Access tricky, so use Google satellite view to scout before arriving. Well worth the detour. Lovely rural setting.
  • Gorgeous, peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a chilled Sunday afternoon
  • One of the largest in UK. You can find a couple of stones in the garden of a nearby pub.
  • Easy parking but couldn't get up close because of the cows. Which makes it odd to charge for access!
