  • A great place to go back in time, an amazing collection we spent four hours going round it. We also had a meal there which was first class staff were so willing to help you.
  • Before I went to this place I was expecting to see some old tractors, farm machinery and such like. We did see these things but oh so much more. There is a huge variety of household treasures arranged in a flowing array of displays from different areas of life. There's so much stuff in there that it is almost unbelievable, it is set out in sections that allow you to absorb the atmosphere of being in, say, an old sweet shop, chemist, department store, and so on. I thought this place was absolutely fantastic, but if I had to make one complaint it would be that seeing things in a museum that I remember using as a kid did make me feel rather old! Oakham Treasures is itself a treasure.
  • Wonderful day out, my grandson wants to go again. Food and staff great. Will be going again soon.
  • Just spent a very happy couple of hours looking at the collections. Information overload by the time we were halfway around. Well worth the price of admission. Oh, oh and the scones were fresh baked and still warm. We recommend that you take time to sit with a cuppa before going into the exhibition because the sight of all those chocolate bars will mean you need another cuppa and a scone when you come out. Excellent tea and coffee and the staff are just lovely
  • unusual collection of items - treasures to be sure!
  • Probably the Best and most extensive collection of old enamel advertising signs in the UK. A day is not enough to do justice to the collection. Good food served too!!
