  • Great place for an afternoon out. Visited for the second time last weekend. Smaller than most National Trust houses but this means you can do it all in an hour if you just want a short outing. Look out for trick pictures and glass baubles with supernatural powers!
  • Having visited over one hundred different National Trust properties , this is a good and interesting place .
  • Interesting history. Lots of information available from the National Trust guides in the various rooms. Lovely gardens, well maintained.
  • Lovely, old building. Well worth a visit. Beautiful glassware on display.
  • Not a massive place, interesting but can hear road noise easily, you can still have your lunch there
