  • A Beautiful, small theatre in the centre of Bristol. A great size for audience participation, small enough to be intimate but large enough to have some great shows on. Definitely worth a visit.

  • Britains oldest working theatre! That alone is in itself enough of a reason to pop your head in the door. A recent £25Million refurbishment from the national arts council and lottery has given it a new lick of paint. Every actor worth his or her salt in their chosen career has stepped through these doors, including; Peter o'toole, Daniel day Lewis and Jeremy Irons. It survived the Bristol Riots and the Blitz. • Great atmosphere. Theatre has a cosy feel because it isn't too huge. It is a little expensive from my point of view but not if you compare it with going to the cinema!
  • An incredible renovation of a truly fantastic British building. Expect great character and atmosphere.
  • Intimate venue to watch great quality and original theatre. On a lively street, great for post-theatre tipples.
  • Sitting in the stalls is a great experience: always great acotrs at the Old vic
