  • We visited late in the day and heard the shark talk, which was great, if not a bit louder than it needed to be. The 'outdoor' bit looked a little tired, but maybe it was less interesting as the fish r...  more »

  • Reflecting back on this weekend the aquarium was a hit !! It's not the cheapest and certainly not a whole day trip, but the fish and coral is amazing. We sat and lost ourself for minutes on end before...  more »

  • While a fun day out with the little one (and certainly a welcome activity on a rainy day) the aquarium is rather underwhelming, and the journey through it is surprisingly quick. Walking through the tropical habitats are a nice touch but the size of tanks and overall amount of exhibits are tiny. Plan for only 1.5 hours tops of entertainment (45 with an admittedly over excited toddler plus some time in the cafe). In the future I think I'll opt for the zoo.
  • Visited today with my grandchildren and we all had a good time. Found the exhibit large enough to entertain us all without becoming exhausting to walk around. The children loved looking at the large variety of fish and animals. It was great to be able to get so close to them and see such a large variety. We enjoyed the feeding session and at The Bay of Rays and thought the tunnel was particularly good. We will definitely be returning during the next school break.
  • Great for kids: took our 9 month old as she loves watching fish and it is totally accessible to her. Also very reasonable; you pay one price for the whole day and can go in as many times as you like! Will definitely be visiting again!
  • Great place to take kids, even little babies, as it has lots of lights and twinkling fishes! Manageable size and lots of variety from tropical plants to coral reefs. No cloakroom for baggage. Prams can be left in the foyer.
  • So small. My friend and I came to this aquarium with our babies- and before we knew it, we had exited the attraction... the smallness is quite baffling, really. Hefty entrance fee for what it really is. That being said, I'm sure it's a crowd-pleaser on rainy days- but that would be the only time I'd ever venture back.
