  • It was ok,but dear enough for a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children ,but i suppose they have to pay staff and the up keep of the place, but well worth a vist
  • Was a bit unsure before i went because i was told it wasnt very big and £40 for 2 adults and 2 kids did seem a lot if it was only an hours worth of exhibits...but, I absolutely loved it! Yes, its not big but was obviously laid out with such thought even my kids (who have the attention spans of goldfish i should mention) actually stopped and spent time at every exhibit! They also give out quiz scratch cards for kids which they loved, and actually made them engage in the experience. The 'outdoor' botanical areas are absolutely lovely, i could have spent the whole day in those quite happily! We went round once, went out for lunch, then came back to go round again in time for a talk and feeding event. My youngest wanted to go round a 3rd time! If you're unsure like i was, i would definitely recommend it! Worth every star.
  • I haven't been to am aquarium on years and didn't think I would like it as much as I did. Lots to see and do. Great for young kids and adults alike. Make your way to the end and there are comfy chairs where you can sit and enjoy the fish be fish.
  • One of the most interesting and enjoyable attractions in Bristol. Could be better value with special offers like other competitors, but definitely worth a visit. Will be back :)
  • Best aquarium I've been to in Britain. Loads of different exhibits, plenty of fish and other creatures. Good value.
  • Wheelchair and child friendly aquarium though not 100% child accessible. A great variety of fish, amphibians, and reptiles as well as plant displays. One might imagine this useful for budding marine biologists. Thoughtfully laid out, they fit in a lot of displays sometimes using single tanks in as many as five ways to show life strata and differing environments. Shows and talks spaced out throughout the day. Student and MOD discount available. We found that at the final section (double doors after the under water tunnel) that it's worth doubling back with children to let them see their highlights again.
