  • Not far from the hubbub of Brighton or Hove or the seafront. A green haven of a park with a great cafe. Locals keep this one a secret ... so don't tell anyone !  more »
  • I haven't been for a while but for some time, the cafe provided a haven for me and my friend and her dog while our kids did karate on Saturday mornings.. invariably we were hungover but the coffee and...  more »

  • Chilled out gardens with friendly squirrels and plenty of places to sit. The wild garden feel is beautiful in spring, and it's unmanicured vibe is a welcome change from the busy shopping area 15 mins gentle walk away. The kids play area is popular, and deservedly so; it has a wide variety of things to play on for all ages. Interesting wood climbing frames, seats and totemic style sculptures. Sadly the loos are smelly, and starting to look old. Obviously the cleanliness of the loos goes up and down with cleaning schedules and cleanliness of users, but they weren't great when we went.
  • Another of Brighton and Hove's lovely parks. Has many different areas from formal gardens to wild life areas, a small pond with many dragonflies to watch, a large play area and tennis courts. Has a very good cafĂ© with extensive outdoor seating and reasonably large. Does a good range of food and cakes. Popular with families after school, during school day less so. Does have an indoor play area. Does a range of delicious food from the delicious decadent cheesy chips to healthier options. Good coffee and teas, many soft drinks too.
  • Peaceful park full of squirrels. Toilets Clem and cafe does good food
  • Lovely garden during the day particularly if it's dry and summer time. Night time not so much. Full of lots of interesting characters. Plenty of being shouted at and threatened when walking through at night which I wouldn't recommend.
  • Nice for the littlns. A little quiet respite from the rest of town.
