We had a fantastic 2-hour sailing cruise on a beautiful sunny day, although the wind was very disappointing! Great staff and boat. Highly recommended.  more »

  • This place is a great place for learners like me. Great staff. I was nervous but they made me feel at home. Great equipment. Thanks again!
  • Booked a party for 6 very energetic 11 year olds including the birthday boy and had smiles all round! The staff were excellent in teaching essential water safety and about the equipment (which was provided for us) and also made sure everyone got the best out of the afternoon. To top it off the cafe also catered a well priced pre-set menu which was perfect once they'd all worked up an appetite. Everyone enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely be recommending to others and considering for next year!
  • Booked for 11am. Caught in traffic so called to advise we would be 10 mins late. Fair enough, they advised all must be on time and arrive half hour before time slot, they re-booked us for 3pm. This ensures others who have booked aren't delayed by late arrivals and go out on time. Told we must be there for 2.30pm to have safety briefing before we went out st 3pm. We re-planned our day to ensure we followed the clear instructions to arrive at 2.30pm. We were greeted with no smile, just an harassed looking person. We explained we were here for our 3pm booking as advised then told they couldn't let us have our 3pm booking but to come back 45 minutes later as they were running behind schedule. Really. How could this be as clearly they were strict on time management but no. Not the case at all. We explained that we had been specifically told to arrive on time but this was pushed aside by being told essentially "not our problem". Furthermore and to add insult to injury we were then told "well, we did change your earlier booking to accommodate you". Yes, we explained we were most grateful in this respect but how was it their time management which clearly something they made clear to us when re-booking was vital to ensure everyone went out on time and anybody late would just simply not go, had happened ! They had no answer apart from saying they were just running extremely behind. No apology but more so we explained had they had the courtesy of telephoning us to advise they were running late, this would have avoided us turning up and having the option to arrive later or re-book. We asked why this didnt happen and were told "we don't have time as busy" ! No courtesy given to us or an apology whatsoever. As for their time management which they made clear to us was vital to them, clearly hadn't happened. Maybe a change in attitude and the courtesy of calling people if they were running late might enhance their business but for us, no chance of ever re-booking. Upon dealing with a refund which we had to request, we were infact charged another £150 instead of a refund !! So best check your payment if a refund is what your getting or indeed booking. You never know you might be paying twice just like us. Strangely enough we clearly weren't the only ones complaining as whilst they were trying to deal with a straightforward refund transaction, another person was complaining bitterly for being let down too, having themselves planned their day of events around jet ski. Bring back the other independent jet ski rentals at the Marina run by an excellent and courteous, friendly team by the owner, Steve.
  • Just had a fantastic yachting afternoon for a day out with my team from work. Charlie and Martin were great hosts, and also competent and patient tutors. Thanks !
  • Had a works team day here and at the hove lagoon centre. Staff were good and the experiences great, nice food laid on and equipment great.

Where to stay in Brighton

During the height of the tourist season and on most weekends Brighton is a very congested city, where driving is difficult and parking is limited in the central areas most frequented by tourists. Avoid getting stressed out by staying at a self-catering apartment or a private B&B farther away from this part of town. Brighton's famous nightlife may be a bit far from there, but you can still enjoy seafront walks, good restaurants, and excellent shopping. Private seafront lodgings allow you to enjoy your stay quietly in comfort, while remaining within walking distance of Brighton's best beaches.
