  • Tue 28 Feb 17, I travelled to the Amex to watch Newcastle play Brighton away. This is one of the better away days I have been to and despite the Ground being no where near to Brighton Centre, there is...  more »

  • Fantastic stadium, easy to reach by public transport. Views are clear and unobstructed. Food choice very varied with eateries in and outside. Beer choice not bad. Plenty of TV screens to keep up to date. Advise staying after match for 30 minutes to make journey home less congested. Better to relax with drink. Toilets busy at peace times.
  • Home of Brighton and Hove Albion. Probably the best stadium in the second tier of English football. Very busy on match days and travel to and from is usually far easier by public transport or park and ride. Costs of refreshments is about what you would expect at a football stadium of this type. Nice touch that they serve Harveys, a local ale, and Piglets Pantry pies. Wide concourses means you can watch other televised games before and after the match.
  • The Christmas fair was a bit disappointing as there weren't many stalls selling different Christmas foods just lots of cheese and fudge. Lots of expensive things to buy but some stalls only took cash payments. The worst thing was the coffee we bought in the cafe, it was disgusting. I wish I had asked for a refund. Maybe they should invest in a decent coffee machine.
  • Excellent modern stadium with comfy padded seats and good views of the pitch but be aware the food and drink prices are quite high and service is often slow creating long queues.
  • Quiet weekday lunchtime. Very nice cheese toastie. Quick and well priced. Friendly staff.
