  • Visited over the Easter weekend with my son & granddaughter. Busy time to find a parking space so parked on the village road. (Hence one star lost) The hall cleverly left clues for the younger ones to find, in rooms around the hall, while the older ones enjoyed reading information about the rooms and the hall. My granddaughter really enjoyed dressing up as a maid, there was lots to keep her amused. The jousting display was excellent, the small zoo is interesting, with talks from the keepers. My favourite was playing the piano, yes I was the crazy lady running up & down the electric floor keyboard. Great day out
  • I love this place, and the sun being out certainly helped! Greeted by a Greek storyteller playing music was lovely and the kids really enjoyed it too, as was there little adventure finding out about Apollo. Got to watch the lemurs being fed, had ice cream and a walk to the beach as well around the grounds. Couldn’t do the house this time as had the dog with us, but watched the kids let off steam in. The playground.A bit pricey at £19 for 1 adult 2 kids, if you are there for a full day you get your money’s worth easily.Highly recommend for all ages.
  • Lots to do and see. Kids can dress up. Not too badly priced. Cafe is great value and very nice. Good selection. Great visit. Lovely gardens to walk around. Easy can spend 5 hours thier.
  • What a stunning place this is to visit !!! My only gripe with it was we wernt told we couldn't take pictures in the stately home part so we got told off by a member off staff halfway round .... she pointed out a tiny sign which was well above head height when we left so maybe it needs a bigger sign somewhere where you can see it !!! The grounds are beautiful and along the way there is a cliff top walk, we didn't do that as it was extremely foggy and cold that day .... the little zoo was well laid out so people wernt bottle necking in one place. We got to watch the penguin feeding and also got to see one of the nest boxes from one of the breeding pairs. There is a little park for kids to enjoy and the cafe was well priced and beautiful just a.little small 😁
  • Very nice place to go, great for quiet walk around. Not so great for kids. As they get bored quickly! Definitely for adults who enjoy a bit of my time!
