Admire the many different types of plants as you stroll through the four linked gardens. Rest your legs and take a trip on the four railways with different types of trains, including steam gallopers. • I took my two children aged 5 & 7 and we had a great day - we arrived around midday and only wished we had arrived earlier as there was plenty to do and see which kept them both fully engaged - especially with the Cambridge Chaos Science experiments being shown out on the green which they also loved. All the trains were running - so thanks to all the volunteers who decided to turn up on our day! I did sadly lose my phone that day and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially the young lady at reception... and today I had a call to say it had been found! So thank you so very much. If you do read this, I did forget to ask one question when I came to collect it; where was it? I thought I had looked everywhere! Thanks to the keen eyed member of staff or guest that found it anyway, it helps to restore faith in humankind. We'll be back again in the future that's for sure.
  • Great place to see steam engines and tractors and the 120 year old Gallopers. Lovely gardens to walk around and ride through on the garden line. Look out for the rally days as they're busy but have a lot more attractions. Good disabled access and helpful staff make it a repeat visit place.
  • Great family day out, the gardens were amazing beautiful flowers and plants well worth a visit just for them. The trains were OK my daughter loved them. The new children's play area was great.
  • Lovely gardens with loads to walk round. Train rides are good. Garden centre is Wyevales.
  • Great place for a family day out or couples. Nice steam museum with train rides. Gardens well worth a visit, especially Blooms foggy bottom garden trail.
