  • Good place to go for a simple day out that isn't expensive (about £3 per person/child and £1 for under 4s when I went). It's not a full farm/zoo so don't expect every animal under the sun, but they had pigs, cows, lots of horses, geese, chickens and a small insect/reptile house/hut. They possibly had some more things that I missed as well. They also have occasional events with entertainers and people in costume wandering around. One thing I will advise is to wear wellies as it can be quite muddy in places (especially if it's just rained).
  • A lovely place to visit - not expensive, which is a Godsend when you have little ones, but fantastically run, friendly and helpful staff and full of interesting and fun things to keep the kids entertained. So glad we have this 20 minutes from us.
  • A good organisation, giving some unwanted and mistreated animals a lovely home. Well worth visiting and supporting. Would have liked to see more of the back story of where the animals came from.
  • A very dedicated Manager, staff and volunteers not forgetting the wonderful animals....Brentwood should be proud of the care dedication given here to our animals and now in 2016 we have over 400 animals and reptiles and a new Tea room, gift shop and pet supply shop and the profits from all go towards the loving care of all the animals xx We rely and depend on you all to support this wonderful cause Thank you all xxx
  • Great value and a good half day out for little ones
