  • During my day trip to Brecon I went to see the Cathedral. It was much smaller than I thought it would be after my visits to Gloucester and St David's Cathedral never the less it is well worth a visit ...  read more »
  • Lovely cathedral, nice lady there who welcomed us with a smile and give us a leaflet. Wrote in the daily prayer book . Disappointed that you have to pay £1 hour to park there.
  • We had trouble finding the Cathedral. Very interested to hear the history of how the once local church was transformed into a cathedral.
  • Stunning building and great example of Norman and Early English architecture.
  • Visited Saturday 4th April 2015. Beautiful buildings, some currently undergoing building works. The cathedral was very peaceful.
  • One of the staff made me feel dejected by a very unpleasant incident last Sunday. I was visiting with some friends and decided to go to the 'Jazz Festival Service'. Upon arrival, we were given pamphlets with hymns by a lady. I said 'We' but probably not. 3 of my friends infront of me were handed one (they are Europeans), but when it was my turn, the lady turn her back to me. Yes, I am an Asian Chinese, does that make me any different? I am utterly speechless by her behaviour which obviously display racism. Mind you, this is not my first encounter with people here.. but in a church? Where everyone is suppose to be equal? (or am I wrong?)
  • Visited the Cathedral for the first time recently, I attended the lunchtime recital and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. What a beautiful building. Very friendly and helpful volunteers. The Cathedral is set in lovely grounds. Had lunch in Pilgrims cafe, which was delicious! Would recommend a visit when in Brecon.
  • Well worth a visit
