I went here for a weekend away with my 3 children (18, 14, 10). I exchanged my Tesco clubcard vouchers for wristbands which entitle you to use all the parks attractions apart from go Karts, mini golf ... more »
The rides are good and it's suitable for all ages but it's expensive. I found the wrist bands were extremely over priced. Worth it because the kids enjoyed it but I don't think I'd pay that much again... more »
The Heralds Heralded
Well known coastal leisure park founded in the 1970's in what is effectively a 200 acre site. The ride extreme can be seen from miles around. Splash, a water park, is a relatively new addition. Toilets include shows, food is plentiful, mostly in the form of burger bars and a Whimpy. A quick trip to Brean sands is a must, where there, you can park your car on the beach for just £3 at the time of writing, cheaper parking options than a number of car parks around. This is the same parking fee for that of this theme park.
Payed for outdoor swimming. Then the outside part of the pool closed after 15 min. So i paid about double the price for 15 min for the outdoot pool that we didn't get to use. Also payed 4.50 to spectate. Rip off. Staff didn't seem to care much. Also went to the fun park and my daughters wrist band got wet so I went to get another. The guy on the till said this is the only replacement your get. In a rude way. I asked him if he was serious. He was like.... yeah! I've been coming 30 years. This year the atmosphere stinks and staff are miserable. Is there new owners or management or something? whatever your doing is rubbish!!!! People pay a lot of money to come and enjoy there holidays. Shame
Parking is only £3 for the day but park is expensive (£25) for an all day ticket, although we stayed the entire day so got our money's worth. The rides all seem generally ok quality and do their job. Don't expect any big, crazy advanced rides since they all appear elsewhere. That said, they are great fun with friends and have rides for all members of the family. The nearby area includes great food options and arcades/venues. A great day out!
If I could rate it 0 I would. Absolute dog sh!t. My 4 year old wasn't even allowed to go on the boring swing ride, thank god we didn't buy the £25 ticket for him, it would have cost us £75 for our family to go on some very poxy old ricketty rides. It all looked old, worn down, and dare I say it... dangerous (due to lack of maintenance ) . So so disappointed ...
Good day out. A little expensive but better if you buy a day pass. Would be good if there was a week pass. Nice food.
