  • Recently undergone a refurbishment and the new cafe and children's areas are really nice. The hall itself is still a sight to behold and the surrounding gardens and lake are perfect for a lazy Sunday walk. Guided tours are available. Adults charged at £5. Car park roughly £2 for the afternoon.
  • Old Tudor hall, smaller when compared to others, well presented with unique wall paintings. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth a visit.
  • Lovely hall with lots of history. Staff are very helpful. The grounds are nice with a play area, cafe and gift shop. Parking is pay & display, £2 for 4 hours.
  • Well preserved and interesting. New gift shop and cafe are great. Not enough parking spaces. Improve the parking and you'd have got 4 stars.
  • Found out we're descended from the Davenports. Came to England to check out the old family homestead. It did not disappoint. Gorgeous house and grounds.
