  • We visited with our 4 yr old son while on holiday in Keswick, the Forest is great, beautiful views, enjoyed the gruffalo trail and children's play area, cafe was very overpriced for what you got, hot ...  more »
  • I'm new to mountain biking but reasonably fit. I tried the blue Quercus run first and it was great fun. You can take it at your own pace but a lot of it is so smooth and flowing that it's like skiing....  more »

  • 5 adults, 8 kids and 2 dogs had a brilliant day out for free. We could go every day and always find new things to do!! Great place
  • Fantastic place. Wonderful cycle routes great cafe. A very good bike shop. Walks and nature trails with information centre.
  • Lots of different walks for all capabilities. High wire course and a lovely cafe for afterwards. Shop has a large selection but fairly pricey.
  • Good MTB trails. North Altura (red) - be prepared for a lot of climbing before loosing all your height in one big fun bang. Good shop and cafe, though the latter seemed to be very busy at weekend. Free parking available half a mile down the road in either direction (can be expensive otherwise)
  • Did a good bit of riding/walking here. It's a good chalange to get to the viewpoints and look down on the lakes.
