Where to stay in Keswick

Cottages and B&Bs are scattered over the valley, and many offer views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The town center's Victorian edifices often hide guestrooms that overlook the charming streets. Consider a B&B or inn with views of the hills close to the town center and enjoy the best of both worlds.

  • Absolutely fantastic! Bike hire options were very good. The trail itself was really nice. Just make sure you follow the signs otherwise you'll end up on the road and downhill for a while until you realise you're probably going the wrong way. The walking options a really good too! Parking is number plate recognition and you pay when you leave. The facilities are clean. The food place is pretty nice. All in all a very well kept place.
  • Very impressive forrest trails. Great hub & convenient parking. Easy to get to. Red and blue trails bike trails. Nothing extreme but also no really simple trails except perhaps the fire roads.
  • Excellent for mountain biking with 3 great routes. North and South loop descents are fantastic. Challenging ride if you do all 3 loops.
  • Great place for walking and biking including red and blue runs. There is a good cafe and usually plenty if parking.
  • Really great place to visit can spend hours here. Lots of family fun
