  • I visited on a late night Thursday as I was in the area for work. To be honest I was really just looking for somewhere better than the restaurant attached to my budget hotel for dinner so thought I'd ...  read more »
  • Had an enjoyable couple of hours here. Lots of different clothes shop and homeward shops. Sometimes struggle to find correct sizes but I guess that's part of being in an outlet side of the stores Will...  read more »
  • A good place to visit if you are after designer clothing and shoes. There are several places to get a snack on site such as Cadbury, Thorntons (who both have cafes) as well as the usual Starbucks etc....  read more »
  • We live nearby, so come here often. Great brands like Barbour, White Stuff, Hollister, GAP and others. Thorntons have a coffee shop that offers better value than Costa and coffee that is at least as good. Nice to mooch around here.
  • Ideal for "man-shopping" because all types of clothing and footwear is available within a compact area, separated into neat small shops. No danger of being unwittingly herded from the Mens department into less important departments such as 'Ladies hats' or 'nick-nacks'. Indecisive shoppers, or those with poor navigation skills, can circumnavigate the site three or four times visiting the same shop on each revolution. Not sure if that's a good or bad feature.
  • Freeport is a clean and pleasant outdoor shopping village offering discount stores. It is well maintained, clean, and has a very diverse range of shops. Two huge car parks are available, and there is never any shortage of space. I would recommend driving past the first car park (if arriving from the A120), which belongs to the retail park, and park in the second, which has more room. Otherwise, continue on a little further and you'll be directed to the rear car park, which is much quieter. Although many well-known brands' stores can be found at Freeport (Bose, Thornton's, Adidas, Nike, Abercrombie & Flitch etc), offering significant discounts on their ranges, I sometimes question whether you're actually saving anything, as some lines appear to be last season. Not that it matters much, having just bought some trainers for £30, which were originally £100. On a nice day, a saunter round the shops and a coffee (Costa or Starbucks etc) can be quite pleasant. On a Saturday, it can be mobbed.
  • Did manage to buy a few things and it's not bad - just not many brands that I like and prefer - don't give that shopping enthusiasm feeling as other Outlet's I've been to - like Ashford and Bicester Village
  • Always a nice day out. Go midweek if you can to avoid busy times. Great mixture of high street designer shops & cafes
