Went on Wednesday June 1st. First time we've seen blacksmith there. Watched him make nail for man in front, then offered to make a leaf pendant for my granddaughter. She was really chuffed that he had made it. Very nice gesture from someone working voluntary. Love the museum, my granddad worked at Jowetts and my Mum as a burler and mender in the mills. My granddaughter loved the mechanical monsters in the exhibition hall.
Really interesting for all ages hands on for kids great memories of Bradford great layout lovely cafe make sure you visit the metal worker he will make you a nail with your initials on it really recommend this and it's free!
We came to the Christmas market last Sunday, it was great but what we really loved was SCROOGE in one of the houses. He was absolutely brilliant, he kept a room full of people mesmerized for well over half an hour. He told the story so well with such feeling and vigor. When he went to get changed into his night attire and shot out of the door I heard a small voice asking "Is that father Christmas mummy?" He held us all in the palm of his hand for all that time and to watch the little children be so intent and listening to him made such a delightful change for all of us, so thank you so much scrooge you made our day.
Lots to see and facinating
