  • I love this place, my children love this place, my whole family loves this place. With every turn of a corner you learn something new. Amazing collection of tanks both new and old from all over the world. Play areas for the children and best of all, for a little extra, you can get to ride in one...! what more could you ask for? As a serving member of the armed forces I get in for free so its even better. The staff are very knowledgeable, I asked a question about a tank, the staff member told me all about what it could do and then I heard a polite cough, a 92 year old former WW2 tank driver was right behind me so I got the full details, including the smell when crossing into Germany and where the crew did their "business"....Just wow! An amazing day out.
  • Wow, amazing place. If you're not interested in tanks, then it is still very interesting from historical point of view. Great for small children and big kids alike. Large soft play area next to cafeteria. Biggest indoor venue in the area so it's great if the weather is poor. Brilliant value at 14 quid for the year.
  • Absolutely packed with things to see and do! Brought my three year old here and he loved the massive collection of vehicles, the soft play area, and the immersive WW1 display. There is lots to see here, and the annual pass that comes with the entry price is a handy way to make sure you actually get to see it! The displays are well laid out, so you can walk around and have a really close look at everything on show - especially in the new Tiger display which does a fantastic job of showcasing these magnificent machines! We watched the beginning of one of the tank driving shows - the arena is spacious and well kept, and you can sit inside with your picnic if it's a bit too chilly outdoors. The people who work and volunteer here not only seriously know their stuff but clearly love being part of the museum. The shop has a really wide range of goods from tourist souvenirs to high end model kits, so something for every kind of visitor!
  • Great place, I've never been that interested in tanks but made special journey as the 3 males in my family wanted to go. Worth the 37 we paid for family ticket. We spent all day there. Many different displays; trenches and Afghanistan was very good. Cafes and a soft play. A Live tank display on week days and the public can participate . Enjoyed the ride in the tracked truck ( small charge) there was also a separate building crammed full of tanks. Lots and lots to see. Great gift shop too. Small play area and picnic benches outside. Large free car park.
  • Amazing place. This is a must see while in the area. Need a day to fully appreciate this place. You can even drive a tank. Take in the "Fury" exhibit. So cool.
