The Square, Bournemouth

Christian is the successful curator of a modern art museum – he lives in the epicenter of the art community and takes his work very seriously. A few days before the opening of the prestigious exhibition The Square he is mugged, which he can neither shake off or let pass unnoticed. Christian embarks on a hunt for the perpetrator and ends up in situations that turn steadily more amusing, and make him question his own moral compass. Simultaneously he has to deal with the PR agency the museum hired to help market the upcoming exhibition. Something which takes an unexpected turn and plunges both the curator and the museum into crisis.

  • We visited the square on the bus from our hotel. There were lots of shops in the vicinity and the area was clean.  more »
  • Always a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Always something going on to grab your attention, always pleasant to linger especially if the sun is shining.  more »
  • Peppy useful place filled with street performances and an uncertain talent food carts and nearby shops and the beach.

  • A new and much needed pedestrian and cycle crossing is being constructed. Time people had priority over traffic in town centre locations like this. Great street entertainment this guy and his drummer are great Don't know who he is and would pay to see him play.
  • This it the center of Bournemouth. It has relaxed feel and you have plenty options there. All buses pass by. This place is amazing just to sit down, or just stand by and observe. Btw, the shops around are usually chains, so nothing special..
  • Good place to meet and get coffee. Central bus stops close. Good buskers turn up when the sun shines.
  • Clean and tidy children's rides. Face painting buskers. Food and drinks plus sweet stalls
  • Spent a nice weekend in Bournemouth and spent one evening at a pop-up bar at The Square. Due to the nice weather we had a nice evening. I can imagine in the rain it wouldn't be quite as enjoyable.
