Golf Course Outdoor Activity
Queen's Park Golf Course is set in a beautiful location where the fairways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. It is a very mature and challenging golf course, where management of the game takes the driving seat to power play. Queen's Park takes pride in its sense of heritage which attracts golfers from a wide area to enjoy the unique character and challenging golf that the course has to offer.

  • As has been said before, the course would be great but we were scared to hit a ball due to the constant worry of dog walkers appearing out of nowhere, not bothering to look and check down the fairway. We understand that the public have right of way but a little common sense is in order. One rude, ignorant woman picked up my partners ball and threw it at him. When reminded that balls should be left alone we were met with a barrage of abuse. Totally unacceptable. Dogs running round the greens isn't ideal and children are in serious danger of being hit by wayward balls. In my opinion what could have been a nice game on a pleasant day was far too stressful.
  • Great course and very reasonably priced. It's a shame about having the public walking across the fairways.
  • I love playing golf here and just being peaceful, watching nature and the world go by!
  • Dog walkers joggers and families with young children hiding around every corner. Had 3 balls picked up by dogs not to mention 2 women throwing tennis balls across our tee box for there dogs as we tried to tee off. On several occasions had people just walking up the fairways towards us as we hit our shots and twice had a child come out the woods in front of us. This place is an accident waiting to happen. As a golf course alone its ok and if it was just a family park it would be a nice walk. I would not play there again nor would I take my family there for the day it's just dangerous.
  • Lovely park, I hear the golf course is good, too. Nice cafe, friendly staff, good food.
