Visited for afternoon tea and we were all very impressed. Great service from the friendly staff and all the tea you could drink. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were delicious and highly recommended.  more »

Nice atmosphere and beautiful candy, nothing more! A thousand leaves and hot coffee. Worth the visit for a cup of coffee.

  • My niece bought my partner and I an afternoon tea for two. We waited until the weather was warmer before going down into Bournemouth. Well. What can I say? The place was very busy but we got a seat no problem. The waiter was really friendly and happy. That is just what you need. The pot of tea came first. Not too big a pot so no problem with chatting and taking your time as a fresh pot was delivered very quickly on request. Excellent! The Sandwiches were very fresh and a good assortment. The scones, cream and jam were delicious. We were full up then so asked for the cakes to be boxed. Not a problem. Will we return? You can bank on that. Would we recommend it to others? Certainly. A thoroughly nice experience that we will do again. Thank you to not only the front of house but also the back room people who made and laid out our tea. Don't just go for afternoon tea. There were people eating other food from the menu. Eggs which ever way you want them looked very nice. Even the man just having a coffee was served in a happy and pleasant way. Well done to the staff
  • It's okay for a patisserie, do not go there any later than 3 o' clock if you think your going to get a pastry, you won't..sold out.. the place is very popular being a recognised cafe chain..
  • Nothing wrong with it. Food ok and reasonable value and choice. Busy when I was there so quite noisy and limited seating. Staff satisfactory attentive. Look out for Groupon offers.
  • Very nice for a tea and cake. Very nice friendly staff.second time I have visited last one in bath.
  • Go there literally everyday and even weekends. Very friendly staff. Great attention to detail and treated like family there. Food is amazing and great cakes as expected!

Where to stay in Bournemouth

For a relaxing experience near Bournemouth's major attractions, book your rooms at a "country house" hotel in the very heart of this picturesque coastal town. Located inside heritage-rich buildings, these hotels are renowned for their luxurious rooms, excellent customer service, and outstanding contemporary cuisine. As a more affordable but no less comfortable option, consider staying at one of many boutique hotels, which feature modern bistros with indoor and outdoor seating, and menus that source fresh ingredients from local suppliers.
