  • This place is okay for under 6s I would say. But it is very small and cramped. I came away feeling sad for the animals to be honest, especially the penguins.  more »
  • The Oceanarium is a delight, esp if you have children as they will be entertained for hours all day long. There is simply so much to see. Every year there is something new. Also worth bearing in mind ...  more »
  • Although not a particularly large place, there is plenty to see. From penguin, otters, pirhanas, an iguana, starfish to the big main tank with the 2 turtles there is something for everyone. Feeding ti...  more »

  • We spent an hour and a half here with our 1 year old who lived it. We enjoyed it to. Only gets 4 starts as it's a little dated and I've vised much larger more impressive aquariums else where.
  • Great aquarium. Nice and clean with a lot to see. Very well laid out and it also has an excellent soft play type area where parents can sit and watch the penguins dive while children play. The cafe is good although does get VERY busy so don't rely on it for lunch/coffee. Best place to park is the BIC multistory car park which is a short walk away (pay and display or app so take change!!).
  • Good place. Small but cover most of the fishes and creatures. There is a cafeteria and small kids play area inside. You can spend around 1.5 hours here and kids will enjoy the most.
  • Expensive entry, a lot of the same fish in every display. "Great Barrier Reef" display.....housing a turtle, 3 blacktip reef sharks, a guitarfish and about 10 other fish. A penguin that appeared to be showing signs of stress with a lump of feathers missing from it's back - no surprise if you venture downstairs to see the state of the water in which they are swimming. Sadly the tank which drew most attention from my partner and I was the first one, at the bottom of the stairs.
  • Quite small, but they have lovely animals and your ticket is valid all day so you can see all the feeding of the animals.
