Bournemouth Pier, Bournemouth

3.0
Take a walk down this Bournemouth landmark and breathe in the sea air. Entertain yourself with video games and traditional coin pushers, and try to win a cuddly toy with the cranes at the arcade situated at the entrance to the pier. As you stroll down Bournemouth Pier, read the information about its history, look out for surfers battling the waves, and check out the traditional pier theater. Once you reach the end, you can relax at the cafe. There’s even more fun for young ones at the children’s amusements. • In some seriously windy weather we braved the pier to and lunch at the restaurant at the end of the pier. The food was ok as far as pub grub goes and a welcome welcome respite from the windy weather o...  more »

  • It's fine, just a fairly average pier which seems to feel it can charge for not much. Fine if you want to do the zip wire or other activities, but there is not much else on it.  more »

  • Fantastic seaside pier that boasts the longest zipline on a pier in the UK - well worth a go if you like to participate in something a bit different! Great Wall climbing facility on site. A great pier with excellent coastal views. Very helpful and professional staff. The food in the pier restaurant was simply amazing! Well worth visiting!
  • Its just a normal pier, nothing special. Barely any rides. Does provide a nice view. Ridiculous pay to enter policy of something like 20p, we had to go hunt for a cash machine and then re-queue all over again just because we didn't carry change. We then did the zip slide from the end if the pier to the beach but that was expensive, somewhere in the region of £50 for 4 of us and it honestly took longer to get the harness' on than it did to ride the entire slide. Furthermore I really wanted to capture my daughters with my camera whilst they did the slide too but I had to wait on the stairs until they were long past my camera range, so no didnt get the pics which was disappointing. Its mediocre all in all. The zip is good just over priced. We did not do the rock climbing wall it didn't look that good.
  • I love this place, you do have to pay £1.50 to go onto the pier but if you keep receipt you can use it for the whole summer, not like the rip off WSM Pier. Lush Cafe on here with outdoor seating and some fair rides to keep the children entertained whilst you relax with a hot or cold beverage and cake :)
  • Nice place! On the pier there's a place with climbing walls, a café and even a zipline from the Pier to the sea shore! The zipline starts at 100 ft above sea level. Harry Ramsden's is also very nearby!
  • Lovely atmosphere and a lovely place to chill out and have a meal or afternoon tea... or just have a pint...
