  • It costs £1.10 to get onto the pier only to find there is almost nothing to see or do. A café and a zip wire ride at the end and that's it!
  • I love a pier. The walk, the fresh air, the views. All stunning. Husband says, but what is there actually to do? We paid to go on. U5s are free. But he had a point. If you don't want the restaurant at...  read more »
  • A rather dull pier that charges £1.10 to enter it during the day, we postponed our visit until after the attendant had gone for the day. The £1.10 is apparently good for annual admission we makes it r...  read more »
  • The pier is a lovely place to take a walk along. It's only about £1 per person so just loose change and is a well maintained pier. It has a nice big cafe at the end of it, a long zip wire to the beach and an indoor adventure centre for the kids and some adults. It is well worth the money to take a stroll along. It also has some great views looking back at the Bournemouth coast.
  • Perhaps I'm a cheapskate, but I think charging £1.10 for accessing a pier with bog standard attractions is a bit much. Given how often I witnessed people donating their used tickets to people by the entrance, I think I'm not the only one who thinks it doesn't offer good value for money. The pier has your usual stuff - an amusement arcade with very old machines, pub with overpriced food and drink - but other than that, there's really nothing that sets this pier apart from the rest. Decent views of Bournemouth, though.
  • bournemouth is well overated,i moved to worthing two years ago which has just come second for the best pier, which is free all year round unlike b,mouth that employs foreign workers to charge a pound to walk on a pier that offers nothing, its a place that on entering from the wessex way ,you are trapped in traffic to the stench of the sewers, parking is the biggest rip off in the country,my advice for a couple of hrs drive is bring the family to worthing for a great day with very cheap parking
  • Very good ice cream! Zip wire really expensive tough:-( anyway it's an awesome place to be!
  • A very enjoyable couple of hours spent on here. One of the better British piers that still remain.
