Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Clean and tidy, Bournemouth Beach features a long stretch of sand lapped by gentle blue waves. Spend a day of fun in and out of the water at this award-winning coastline that includes over 11 km (7 mi) of family-friendly beaches. Nestled beneath a protective cliff line, this part of the coast enjoys its own microclimate and boasts some of the warmest sea temperatures in the UK. Hike to the top of the cliffs for a sweeping view toward the Isle of Wight and the Purbecks. You can rent deck chairs, sunbeds, and umbrellas at several spots along the beach, and a number of nearby stalls and cafes sell ice cream and light snacks. Our Bournemouth trip builder makes visiting Bournemouth Beach and other Bournemouth attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.
