I went along as part of a group of 12 on a Saturday for a session that we were told started at 9:15 and would finish around 4:30. We arrived early and first impressions were good. Parking ok and the e... more »

We had a stag do here and whilst it was certainly expensive, we did have a good time. That was until we found out that one of our group's car had been broken into with many valuables stolen. There wer... more »

I had a terrible experience playing paintball thanks to the manager at the place. He was rude and disrespectful to my friends and myself. We paid for the balls and the guns £45 each (we came in a group of 7 people) but because of your disrespectful and utterly rude so called manager we left straight after our second game. The Marshall named Ryan was the most kind out of everyone. To spend so much money and to get this level of rudeness is absolutely unbelievable. We will not be returning or using your services ever again.
Day was dampened by being put against an entire team of cheating regulars for the WHOLE DAY. They don't ever swap which team faces which, so you're stuck with the same opponents for the entire day. Unfortunately, the enemy constantly cheated in plain sight of marshals, and even after complaints all day, nothing was done, not even a word to the other team. What is the point of the marshals then? Oh, I know. Don't pay them minimum wage, because most of the ones we had were in training, and the others just didn't care. Equipment was clean, but the guns often jammed and were not calibrated. The 'zones' were also very small and often you just took cover and shot, not much running around. Paintballs were £7.99 for 100, but I can understand that's the way for profit - it just didn't seem they were paying the staff enough to manage a fair and fun fight. Would recommend you go elsewhere if you can.
Dodgy to say the least... The venue is fine, but the paintballs virtually never exploded, which made shooting someone a complete waste of time. When I demonstrated to the marshall that even shooting a nice solid tree from a distance of about five metres failed to pop the balls more often then not, the response was simply 'bad luck'. As someone who has done paintballing on numerous other occasions, this is not 'bad luck', it is dodgy equipment. All you have to ask is who benefits most from balls not popping when the result is that you have to fire more and... buy more! At best this was a bad batch or improperly stored and they didn't care, at worst they are knowingly selling poor quality materials in order to cheat people and make more money. Complaining to the manager got me little further, so our group left early. I followed this up with their head office, deciding to try to resolve the issue, but all they did was offer us free tickets to another day paintballing! The only reason they even charge for tickets in the first place is to make sure people will go, they make their money on the day at the venue, so effectively their offer to us was just a chance for them to score more cash. This is my second bad experience at Delta Force. Never again. I've been to other paintball days out, and advise you do the same, this is not a good experience.
The experience was fun but there are some issues. The helmets after a game start to really hurt and it feels like someone is crushing your head, the hoppers (magazine) are cheaply made so that the paintballs can easily get out and spill all on the floor. They also put a rule in place so that you are not allowed to pick them up. They put 16 year olds with 12 year olds, who do you think are going to win? The staff are really good though. Also the body armour does nearly nothing, its just a extra layer that only covers your torso and i when't paintballing for the whole day there and i NEVER got shot in the torso.
A good day out paint balling, loads of different games and zones, but pricey, expect to use 1000+ paint balls during the day + a gun upgrade is required if you want to be able to shoot straight, standard guns nearly always throw curved balls.
