  • Very well designed network of paths through new, young woodland and grassy, meadow land. Good habitats for birds and butterflies. Pond also. Lots of seating along the routes. Good for dog walking, jogging, cycling, walking, keep fit (there is a fitness trail with wooden apparatus) and wildlife spotting. You can get a cuppa, a pint or an ice cream from the cafe near the fishing lakes (at the opposite end of the reserve to the car park). Run and maintained by volunteers.
