This is a great place. Lots to choose from. You can take a walk around the ponds and see the ducks, swans, geese and other wildfowl. There is a good children's play area and a playing field for football or exercising the dog. There is a good circular walk along the River Croal, with plenty of wildlife to be seen. If you are lucky you may spot a kingfisher.
Its a lovely park with few lakes in it.. You get to see so many geese and swans.. There is child play area too btw even adults can have fun on the big slide they have.. A lot of parking spaces are available.. U have ice cream van too.. If you're going for picnic then those bench tables are available.. U can have a good time with family.
A stunning place. There’s plenty of parking space to start with. Then there’s a really nice view of the lake with all the birds on it. We walked along the trek of the river. It took about an hour and was a nice easy walk, but make sure to wear appropriate shoes at this time of year as it was very muddy in places. I wouldn’t do the walk with young children or a pram. Also bring tissues if you’re planning on using the bathroom facilities as there was none there. It’s kind of expected in a park though.
Great place to feed the resident ducks, geese and swans around the three lakes. A little walk down the path to the enclosed children's play area. Benches and tables dotted around for those sunny day picnics. Free parking from dawn till dusk. Ice cream van usually parked near Rock Hall visitors centre. Squirrels, badgers, foxes, owls, loads of birds and deer can be spotted by those willing to look. Good place to put on hiking boots and take that long walk up to Nob End and on to Ringley.
Lovely place to visit with children and feed the wild birds on the water. Great little country trail for those who love a walk and taking in beautiful view. The tracks are accessible for bikes and pushchairs so it's accessible to all.
