  • No matter when the family go, spring, summer, autumn, or winter we always have a nice time. The dog loves it too. Ice Cream van near bottom car park is expensive.
  • We visit this place on a regular basis good car park lots of ducks and swans to feed ,good play area for children quite a few picnic benches ice cream van at weekends,
  • Moses gate country park is full of interesting places,as well as the three lodges, there is the river croal frequented by kingfisher and summer there is the sssi site at nob end full of orchi...  more »
  • Bigger than it first appears as you can walk up to the Manchester, Bolton and Bury canal or near the river croal. You can also just walk around the lodges which have many many swans and other birds. Saw a mandarin duck once. The toilets could be a bit nicer and it's got no cafe. Gets very busy on sunny days but there's usually an ice cream van on those days.
  • Great and quite large family country park enjoyed by the diverse community that makes up Bolton. Friendly and a nice relaxing diversion from busy life, on a summers day. Children's play area and two small lakes with a large number of birds life including many swans. We enjoy many a walk taking our beagle along with us in this park
  • Really great place to walk the dog. Large park for the children. Loads of different birds to see and if you're lucky deer too. Only downside is no cafe.
  • We walk our dog around the well kept and pleasant lodges. The kids can play on the swings, altogether a pleasant, safe park.
  • Ice cream van disappeared and would be great if it had a cafe
