  • Myself and a friend recently visited Go Ape at Rivington getting 15% off with our student IDs. Having visited 3 other Go Ape sites I knew what I should expect. The instructor was very friendly and gav...  more »
  • Been to go ape before but first time here, easy to find, large free car park, cafe, toilets, plenty of places for spectators etc as it's set in a huge wooded park very popular with dog walkers,families...  more »

  • Excellent and fun day for all, staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. One member of the group struggled with some of the courses and they were always on hand to assist. Main downside was the lack of suitable signage from one course exit to the next entrance. This could have been better achieved with mini-maps provided to attendees or a static map at each exit. Nice scenery and the zip-line that briefly passes over the edge of the water is a good attempt at uniqueness.
  • Excellent service. Good value for money took 2 hours to complete. Very safety conscious
  • Looks like Bolton market, with all those T shirts hanging, . Not good, the place is not big enough for this, traffic is shocking at weekends. Planning permission every year not good. Accidents waiting to happen.people living near think it's ruined our countryside, which it has, but people coming from a far do not see this, as they are not fro. This area, Liverpool 1902 act. Left it to the public. Not to be made money by. Ie. Lord Leverhulme. An attractant ion like this is fine in the middle of know where but at a small enclosure like Rivington totally ruins the beauty and tranquillity of Rivington, and limits its walkers. Ie landing zones, and piece full walks that use to be. BUT MONEY TALKS! OPENING THIS ATTRACTION IN SUCH A SMALL AREA.
  • Lovely experience, climbing, crossing, and zip lining. Challenging for all levels. One zip line goes over water. Rain actually added to the fun, with the wet and wind enhancing the physical experience. Dress appropriately for the weather, with laced trainers and comfortable clothes. Bring a towel and change of shoes — you are likely to get muddy unless maybe if it is a dry day with dry ground. Takes a few hours but time went quickly. Water dispensers and cups are provided around actives. Recommended for both adults and young adults. May be difficult for young children — consult staff first before booking for children or teenagers for adult supervision numbers and for suitability. There are a couple of nets to climb, but assistance can be provided for these, and one is optional. Staff supervise the area and are not far away. Difficult to find entrance to site. Check map carefully beforehand. Toilets are at nearby visitors' centre — low quality with stainless steel toilets, you know the kind, without toilet seats and such.
  • Fantastic. Had a brilliant time - the staff were brilliant. The courses are great :-):-) looking forward to going back :-)
