  • After a disaster of a hunting trip for rabbits I decided too try Bolton Market and wasn't disappointed. My best friend Chloe apparently does a top drawer stew , so mission on. A no frills market with a good old school feel too it . Loads of little stalls too peruse and bargains too be found . The pasty stall looked bang on and with a long que you know it's a local winner . The smell of fresh fish wafting in the air was a sign I was close and had me reminiscing of days when my gran used too tickle trout down Sharples's brook. Bagged two rabbits from the stall no worries , had myself two brews , three jays , a egg butty and Mission Market was accomplished.
  • I really like the local market, you never know what you will find. My advise buy whats in season its always cheaper
  • First class fruit and veg at Bates stall good cheese stall and bakery stall. Excellent meat and fish also.
  • A reasonable market. Shame that most of the stalls start closing from 4.30pm. The real ale bar-Great Ale At The Vaults is fantastic and stays open till 6.30pm on market days (Tue/Thur/Fri/Sat) .
  • Best place in the north west for fruits, veg and great selection of meats and fish. We coming here from Preston as often we can and we love the place. The prices are great and you can get big discounts at the end of the day. I would like some more choices of food after you had a full day shoping, my husband loves the cameroon curry they sell there . Great place !
