  • Great place to visit. Castle and paintings brilliant, cafe decent, gardens lovely but the best was the woodlands walk and bird hide. Spotted a doe and her fawn which made my day. 3 more deer off in the distance, and aviary had only 2 types of bird but both were interesting. Recommend visiting, car park also huge.
  • Had a great weekend here good rooms and service
  • A wonderful Hotel set in beautiful Welsh countryside. Our room was of a fair size with a massive bed on which I slept very well. The staff are all very well trained to be very amenable, friendly and polite. The only thing that let things down a bit for us was the food. Breakfast was great but some of the evening meals we had were not so great.
  • Bodelwyddan Castle is a must for afternoon tea, my partner and I went yesterday (17/08/16) the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, the place is beautiful and the food delicious, compliments to the chef, especially the cakes and the selection of food. I am egg intolerant and my partner explained when booking, they checked this when we arrived and had made sure everything was free of egg, even the desserts so I could eat everything, the waitress was lovely, checking I had the correct food and making sure we were okay. We had read bad reviews for the afternoon tea but thought we would try it anyway as it's such a beautiful place, I'm so glad we did, we couldn't fault it, well worth a visit and worth every penny, we couldn't finish everything so they very kindly boxed up the cakes left so we could take them home, which we had later on and they were delicious. We will definitely go again,. Thank You for a lovely afternoon and a perfect afternoon tea.
  • Beautiful place in a stunning setting. Exceptional experience which was all helped by the staff. Well recommended. Won't be disappointed.
