  • Excellent place to start walks from. Some "rarer" bird varieties around (November time). Easily accessible. Strangely though the centre was shut with gate closed (just walk past anyway and follow trai...  more »
  • Discovery of the Osprey, Osprey or Eagle. Welcome, explanation, small shop and all with the smile and the patience of the real enthusiasts. Not to be missed!

  • Really accessible visitor centre with cameras and telescopes for you to view the nesting birds. You can even view close-ups on big-screen monitors in the centre. There's loads of stuff for young kids to do from what I could see. It's good for about half an hour (if you're not a kid), then you can wander over to the lake and walk around that to maybe see some other wildlife. Car parking can be tricky on busy days, you might need to park down the road a bit.
  • Beautiful calm spot. The Loch was mirror calm the day we were there and it was stunning.
  • Stunningly beautiful and full of local wildlife.
  • Very nice walk through the woods for all abilities
  • Quiet, the RSPB has exactly 1 osprey nest, not worth the 5 pound admission ticket tbh.
