  • Only did a small section of this loch and it is a great location and really beautiful setting. Was snow showers when we we visited and made a really great setting.
  • Centre closed in winter but well worth a walk around the surrounding paths. The scarce Crested Tit can often be seen as can waterfowl on nearby lochs
  • It is well worth a visit really good views of the birds round the feeders in winter time take some bird food the Coal Tits will come to your hand. Centre is not open in winter time but it's worth a wa...  more »

  • Really accessible visitor centre with cameras and telescopes for you to view the nesting birds. You can even view close-ups on big-screen monitors in the centre. There's loads of stuff for young kids to do from what I could see. It's good for about half an hour (if you're not a kid), then you can wander over to the lake and walk around that to maybe see some other wildlife. Car parking can be tricky on busy days, you might need to park down the road a bit.
  • Beautiful calm spot. The Loch was mirror calm the day we were there and it was stunning.
  • Stunningly beautiful and full of local wildlife.
  • Very nice walk through the woods for all abilities
  • Quiet, the RSPB has exactly 1 osprey nest, not worth the 5 pound admission ticket tbh.
