The Classic Shopper's Paradise - everything you need for your home and wardrobes - very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the gentlemen's newspaper reading area :))) more »
Nice place to stop on the A9. Farm produce shop & clothing complex with plenty of parking & small dog exercise area. Dogs not allowed in any areas of the restaurant except outside, so if it's raining - eat in the car. Could quite easily have a partitioned area under the vast covered part of the restaurant - seems weird given the whole emphasis on the farm & outdoor lifestyle of the complex. No vegan option in the restaurant. Still a nice place for a stop
This is a massive shopping center which offers mainly clothes, but also food, art, etc. The buildings are handsome and comfortable in a homely way, even though it's fairly new. Visitors can walk along the many rooms to look at high-quality garments, typical British brands, luxurious handbags, and all the rest of it, and then move on to the food shop which offers a variety of meats, smoked salmon, biscuits, sweets and a lot more. The restaurant offers a good selection of dishes or simple sandwiches and tea biscuits or cakes and the covered terrace is very comfortable thanks to the massive heater lamps around it. There's also a factory shop in the back for good bargains. I would say that one can have a good deal of fun just walking about and looking at things (or sitting in a big armchair with a newspaper in front of the fire as their wife walks about and looks at things). It's well worth the stop.
Great place to stop off on the way up or down the A9! Food isn't cheap but superb and the food hall is great for Scottish produce to take home with you! There's plenty parking and space for dogs too. Great for country clothing, cashmere and tweeds
Did not hate this shop one star is because I did not like it. £45 for a cup is ridiculous. No cup in the world that is not made of gold is worth this!
Very good food. Good value and quality. Did, however, encounter a rude young male server today who deliberately went out of his way to make me feel uncomfortable. Micro aggression of a stressed employee or deliberate agenda? Hopefully he will not last because this is a lovely shopping/meal stop.
