  • I spent a couple of hours here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very informative and it was free. Perfect to combine with the Big Pit to get a feel for the industrial history of Wales.  more »
  • They have functions here a few time a year and are well worth a visit. The World War 2 re-enactment is one of them and that is definitely worth the visit  more »

  • A very interesting place to learn about "iron making" between 17 and 1900. Really impressive the LOUD on-site MM show about the hard work in an Industrial Revolution's Ironwork, and the original houses of privileged workers...
  • National heritage site informative visitor centre combine with Big Pit for a good day out. At Xmas have Santa and story time.
  • Great place for a family visit. Very impressive that it's free as well.
