  • Lots to see and do, loved the little houses which showed different eras. The attention to detail was amazing. Very interesting and worth checking out
  • This is a great place to visit with or without kids if you are in the area and learn about iron and steel in the industrial revolution. Besides the imposing balance tower, the reconstructed cottages, the making of iron pigs presentation in the Furnace is very impressive and almost transports you back in time!
  • We had a great experience here at the iron works. The multimedia presentation was truly well done.
  • Smaller than I imagined it would be. Not a huge amount to see or do but enough to kill an hour or so. Kids enjoyed looking through the different cottages. Entry is free.
