3.8/5 based on 6,500+ reviews on the web
Take in some of the best views of northwest England from the top of The Blackpool Tower. The city's version of the Eiffel Tower opened in 1894 and stands about 158 m (518 ft) tall. Today it holds a place on Britain's list of Grade I buildings for its architectural and historical significance. Head into the 4-D cinema at the bottom for a special effects-enhanced history of Blackpool's iconic tower. Next, take the elevator up to the glass-enclosed skywalk for a panorama of the Irish Sea and the Blackpool area. On a clear day, you'll be able to see the Isle of Man sitting between England and Ireland. Do check the weather before visiting, though, because high winds occasionally restrict access to the top. • The glass floor was a bit scary but glad we did it. The 3d cinema was ok but we would have preferrred to oay less and just go up the tower
  • We enjoyed our trip up the tower. The view was tremendous. Even when looking down despite having wobbly legs on the glass platform. Having been up the Tower once we probably won't return as it doesn't...  read more »
  • We went up the tower just before nightfall, and had a wonderful view of the illuminations and the sun set. I would definitely recommend going up at night. The 4D experience before you get to go up to ...  read more »
  • I been very lucky on my last holidays, I went to visit my best friend, a local, and suddenly I found Blackpool in my way and a perfect weather all together. I have to say that I had been in Paris and of course I really love it, but Blackpool have something that Paris don't. That is the Atlantic Ocean. It is an incredible experience to climb up to the tower and get speechless while your eyes can't get all that beauty at once. The Blackpool Tower, from the top until the bottom is a great experience. Get the Big Ticket and enjoy the Tower, the cute Circus, the terrifying Dungeons, the classic Ballroom and many more places.
  • Much better since Merlin took over. Everything is well organised. Staff very friendly and helpful. 4D film is good. Great views from the top of the tower. Be brave and try the glass floor. It really is great once you've plucked up the courage to walk across it!
  • We visited the Tower during our short weekend stay. I really enjoyed the whole experience! Firstly, there is a 4D experience which I won't spoil for you, but it's great. Then you go up in the lift and are left to discover the Tower at your ease. We enjoyed the perspex floor which you can walk on and see the passing traffic and pedestrians far below, definitely worth a quick selfie! When you're done, jump in the lift and you're taken back down to the giftshop where there is a range of Tower merchandise and photo opportunity. Staff were friendly and polite, answering any questions raised. If you're visiting Blackpool I'd recommend a visit to the Tower.
  • Definitely worth it. Amazing views from the top. Good soft play inside. Circus definitely worth a visit. Food offering is ok. Also the dungeon is definitely worth a go. Scary and a great way to find out local lore .....
  • About £13 to go up but you do get to capture some amazing views especially on a clear day 😎 You can pay approx £25 for the tower and the Dungeons, which is apparently good for what you get and also takes a good chunk of time. Planning to revisit the tower with my daughter and girlfriend very soon. 🗼👪
