Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
An educational experience that combines technology with hands-on demonstrations, Sea Life Blackpool is dedicated to raising awareness of marine life and conservation. Displays are thematically arranged according to region, and you'll see tropical fish and marine life from European waters. Some exhibits even allow you a close encounter with starfish, seahorses, and stingrays. Conservation of these creatures is a large part of the center's work, and exhibits detail its efforts to conserve the species on display. • One of the best sea life centres I've been to although it's seems to have a abundance of Sting rays. However when a school trip is in it can become hectic. The area tunnel is brilliant and you can sit for ages watching the fish. Staff are helpful and pleasant, but for the love of God quit with the photographs!
  • It's OK but expected to be a lot bigger inside, there are some nice fish inside specifically in the smaller tanks. The first area where you get your hands wet was totally useless as there were no fish, just a few tiny shrimps and a load of shell fish. There was no signage for direction to walk in and some areas you needed to double back so poor layout. No area to sit and have a coffee (if there was we couldn't find it). Was in and out in less than an hour.
  • My wee boy loved it. A fairly wide selection of animals for the size. Missed them but there were a few keeper talks on. Missing a trick with no food facilities only a vending machine. Good for a morning or afternoon, not a full day trip.
  • One of the best Sea Life places in the country IMO. Visited few other places and this one is the one we always come back to. Blackpool is fantastic place and Sea Life is real pleasure to visit...
  • Great sealife centre. Lots to see and a small play area at the end for young kids. They have just spent some money creating a new area as well. Defiantly worth the money for something indoors to do.
