The zoo shelters elephants, giraffes, sea lions, gorillas, orangutans, camels, and zebras, to name just a few. Newly added in 2011, Children’s Farm allows families with kids to encounter and feed donkeys, sheep, and goats. • Visited here in April. It's a really good Zoo, plenty of different animals to see. Unlike some Zoos the park is big enough that you feel the animals are fairly treated and have plenty of room to move ...  more »

  • Fantastic day out. £15 each. Great as its only 10mins away from the centre of Blackpool. Really easy to drive to. Had fun watching the animals especially the sea lions. Would highly recommend going when visiting Blackpool!
  • A good day out. I didn't like the idea of having to pay to park your car and then having to pay the admission charge on top. Bit of a stealth tax in my view. Cafe prices very reasonable. Seems to be a work in progress to some extent but enjoyable and in general well presented.
  • Really good afternoon out. Well priced and not too busy so easy to see all the animals. Not as many animals as Chester zoo so you only really need half a day to see them all, but still a nice trip. Staff all friendly, park clean, parking easy.
  • Good selection of animals, enclosures seemed well kept and on the whole large enough. Footprint of the zoo is flat which is good for buggies and wheelchairs. Felt sorry for the solo elephant however there is a new enclosures opening soon with a herd of breeding elephants. Took our own lunch so can't comment on the food facilities.
  • Good selection of animals that had decent amounts of room to roam around in. The animals looked cared for and healthy. There was only one lonely elephant though they are opening a new elephant house this summer so that should be changing as the house will be much larger. Would of gotten 5 stars but the train wasn't running when we went
