  • Visited here in April. It's a really good Zoo, plenty of different animals to see. Unlike some Zoos the park is big enough that you feel the animals are fairly treated and have plenty of room to move ...  more »

  • Very nice place to go as a family day out. Kept clean an tidy and plenty to do for the kids, with all the play areas an places to have a picnic. Everything is placed with good arrangement and there some shows put on with different animals throughout the day to keep the kids happy.
  • Great zoo - Lemur enclosure is amazing - no barriers and they'll get right up close to you. Fantastic. Happy to see a new elephant enclosure is due in 2017 with a full herd if breeding Asian elephants.
  • Visit regularly due to having a season pass. Staff always happy to help. Good number of talks/displays giving info on Animals. Animals seem very well cared for however a few of the enclosures in need of refurbishment.
  • An amazing day out for all the family and plenty of animals to see. Worth checking out the feeding times as well as the penguin show. What is worth noting is that eating here can be really expensive so I highly recommend taking a packed lunch or picnic.
  • Love Blackpool zoo, but catering was an issue when we went this time. Stood in a queue that was about 6 people deep for half an hour for drinks and ice creams (when we got to the counter could only get freezer ice creams as the machine was out of order) and the canteen isn't the best. Otherwise though a lovely zoo that is preferable to Chester in price and distance as everything is close together.
