The zoo shelters elephants, giraffes, sea lions, gorillas, orangutans, camels, and zebras, to name just a few. Newly added in 2011, Children’s Farm allows families with kids to encounter and feed donkeys, sheep, and goats. • nice and open, animals are mostly in open planned layout, you can get really close, and take pictures without all the cages ect.,really enjoyed it
  • Fantastic place the staff do great job looking after the animals was great experience even cater for the disadabled with the prices which was good of them to do so thank you
  • The tickets were £16-98 each lots of the zoo was closed no insect houses or creepy crawlies .Not worth the entry price
  • Excellent day out. We visited between Christmas and New year, so it was very quiet. This is a great zoo with plenty of space between animals which will probably help when busier. Really clean and tidy, and lots to see. Would advise to book online as early as possible to make it cheaper and if booking the online meal deals one meal would easily feed two young kids. Would highly recommend.
  • Great Zoo. Not too big but not too small. Plenty to see and do. Plenty of shows and animal talks. Sealion show is fantastic. Clean, well maintained. Took a picnic so couldn't say about food. Drinks are reasonable for such a place. Starbucks coffee offered at vendors around the park. Plenty of places to sit and watch animals. Entrance fee reasonable for a zoo. Family tickets available making it slightly better. Can use tesco vouchers.
  • It is a great day out with the family. There is lots to do. It is a safe place to let the kids run around. They have a dinosaur Park, playground, petting zoo, talks, etc. They also have young keeper courses for the older kids. I recommend looking at a membership if you plan on going more than twice a year. The soft play is pretty good too.
  • Nice zoo. Nice to see a zoo that does an animal info talk about lions. Thought the man inside the indoor section opposite the elephants (amazonia section with the small monkeys?) was very rude and it wasn't just me who commented on his rudeness
  • Excellent day out with the kids, they loved it. The family ticket is very reasonable. All the animals are very well looked after and have lots of space. The whole site is very clean and there is lots of talks and things going on.
