  • Very friendly and helpful staff features a cafe run by camerados this is used as a public living room space for a coffee or friendly chat, pop in and say hi to the team in the cafe. They promote a kind and friendly atmosphere and have a pay it forward service so you can buy a drink or a meal for a stranger to make their day a little better when they can't afford one themselves. Kindness makes the world go round.
  • Blackpool library is an absolutely fantastic library with plenty of facilities and books. When my wife and I came here for the first time, the staff members were very friendly and explained everything clearly to us. There's a cafe that's open on weekdays, learning and reading zones, it's quiet all over the place - an ideal venue to work and study. Though it's a bit disappointing that it closes quite early on weekdays and is closed on Sundays, so if you have a regular 9 to 5 job you can use the library only on Saturdays.
  • Lovely space, plenty to choose from and very helpful staff. Lots of opportunities for adult learning and groups for helping people build CV's etc. Love the stained glass windows and they even have a space now to get a nice brew and a bit of cake, or even a hot meal!!!!
  • Nice Library and warm and friendly, helpful staff and lots of events going on which is nice, but there is just one thing, I don't think is fair, and that's the charge of 20p to use the toilets. Why they've suddenly introduced this is a mystery to me, when people like myself are paying for the upkeep of the library within their Council Tax.
  • Wonderful Library it's Friendly warm with plenty of atmosphere there is a reading room you can go in to if you want quiet but there is also a great Cafe Camerados with great home cooked food at really great prices and an excellent Computer facility
