Unfortunately we did not book the tour in time by finding all booked. But we had the same way of doing a tasting of 5 different whiskey taking two Baking trays 17 and 13 pounds, from three glasses each. They did accommodate and were on hand to explain more about what we were about to try. It was a pity not to participate in the visit but still was worth stop by.

A little disappointed... There is no place for the tour of the distillery. It was nevertheless possible to taste various whiskey with indications of a very nice guide!

This was our first visit and was made very welcome. The guide was really knowledgeable and time flew by. Tasters were good and we bought a bottle. Would of liked to try the beer as well.  more »

  • We did the "Classic Tour" on a Saturday morning. We did not book but just rocked up and the distillery were happy to show us around. The tour was informative, relaxed and very friendly. Our guide was very pleasant and patient with us and our questions. The location is very easy to access from the A9 road between Stirling and Perth and the PH4 1QG postcode might be helpful if you are using a satnav. It is always better to call ahead of your visit as we visited "out of season". I have been on other distillery tours and this was as good as any of the others. A good wee place to pass an hour and have a wee dram!
  • We took the Tour and Whisky & Chocolate tasting. Great Tour and Explanation and the combination was just amazing. We just wish, we could take all of them home :)
  • Very disappointed, had hoped to get a distillery tour but due to lack of signage from the main junction on the A9 (only one sign pointing into the village - nothing from further away) we ended up driving 20+ miles more than we should have. On arrival no clear indication from the visitor car park as to where the entrance is consequently no time to do a tour only a look round the 'shop'. We were told they were busy altering the buildings and putting new areas in - the stills are being repaired in the next month. This is no excuse for lack of signage! You need to close whilst you are working or put clear signage up as to where the visitors go. Also NO DISABLED PARKING AND QUITE A WALK FROM CAR PARK TO THE OPEN BUILDING!!!!!!
  • Jim was a great and knowledgeable host really made the tasting an enjoyable experience
  • Great distillery with lovely funny, informative guides. Just make sure you know how to get there and back again.
