  • Terrible caravan park from an owners perspective. Extortionate site fee's but no facilities. Great outdoor space with stunning views and the park is clean and tidy in fact that is where the one star rating is used. Customer service terrible. Facilities, always coming soon. Castle not open most of the time, no restaurant or shop as advertised. If, by chance it has now opened, don't count on it for long. A few weeks is the record. Shop/cafe? Don't make me laugh! A pretty trailer park is all this will be and expect lies and promises about the facilities being updated. If that's the case I would sack the builders. (See reviews dating from 2011 and still in 2017 not open?) I am stuck with a caravan on there as you will probably read from previous owners that they will give you next to nothing back.
  • Yes it's a nice caravan park and it's kept lovely and the staff can't do enough for you when you buy a van BUT if you decide to sell it they will rip your eyes out and return for the sockets.I bought my van for 20.000 had it 4 yrs spent a further 1000 on it and when I went to sell it privaely they stopped me in every direction and they ended up buying it back for 1.500. The same happened to my mother she spent a total of 28000 and they bought hers back for 7.500.So be very careful if you decide to sell your van .
  • Great location very scenic and peaceful resident only site with amazing friendly owners and the bar in the castle itself. Have give five because unable to give six.
  • I bought a caravan here approx six months ago, the area is beautiful but facilities not so, we were all so excited to start with but found once we had bought our caravan we began to feel more like an inconvience and all the focus is on customers buying caravans. Refurbishments have been going on since we moved in which we knew about BUT we're told the restaurant would be open last November then Xmas then Easter and it's still not although it was still advertised on the Internet and website. The children's area is dark and very small, and feel what we have to pay in site fees it has all been very dissapointing to say the least.
  • brilliant day out
