  • For a very small site there is quite a lot to see and lot of information which is generally well laid out. The staff member on site that day was very helpful and provided some interesting additional information. Our visit took about an hour, as we like to read everything, and we really enjoyed it. There is an activity area for children and some dress-up items (big enough for adults too).
  • Beautiful and well preserved site. The children enjoyed looking around, dressing up in roman wear, trying on a helmet, playing in the sand to uncover artefacts and making mosaics with the tiles. Doesn't take long to look around so I wouldn't expect children to be happy spending more than an hour or so here.
  • Fantastic little site. Mostly wheelchair accessible. Bath house is in a covered area with some of the best hypercaust remains in Britain. Beautiful drive through countryside to get there. Runs activities through summer.
  • Great for Roman buffs. View the hypocaust under the bath house - a good many remains to see. The latest excavation is accessible ti the public.
  • Tiny site not much to look at went on a open day would have been really disappointed if I had payed
