Returned after 5yrs with my second child this time. Both kids still had fun, highlight was probably the new garden area and was enjoyed by all. The prices are still a bit steep as already mentioned.  more »

My first visit with friends, a short walk from Moor St station. Four floors of interesting stuff of different things. I liked the planetarium but loud children can spoil the show. The restaurant was r...  more »

Unfortunately our 1st and last visit today to the think tank museum was spoilt by the sour faced staff and the utterly vial duty manager David. Having paid £47 entry for a family ticket including a vi...  more »

  • Went with my 2 kids who have special needs they absolutely loved the indoor area had so much to do, the outdoor science garden was even better lots of things to play with and plenty of water play which my youngest loved. I enjoyed it but couldn't really explore the way I wanted so went again by myself had a proper look around and got 2 membership plus cards for my kids so now we can visit whenever we want. Can't wait for my next visit. Only downside was the price of fish and chips &7.50. Just remember to bring your own lunch there is plenty of space to sit and eat, staff were wonderful and very helpful.
  • Great place to spend the afternoon with kids. My daughter (1 yr) loved the indoor play areas, especially the water splash zone, so make sure you bring an extra change of clothes for the little ones. It was too cold to enjoy the outdoor area, but it looked lovely!
  • What a fascinating place. So much information and things to learn. A very good day out I took my nephew and his mum and to be honest I enjoyed it more than them
  • A wonderful surprise. One piece of advice take spare clothes and maybe even a towel ☺️ the kids area on the 2nd floor is amazing my 4 year old loved it and even my 1 year old had fun playing especially getting soaked in the water bit! Enjoyed walking around the different areas. Wasn't sure what to expect but a really good day out.
  • for £3 if you go on selected days from 15:00, it's worth the visit. but i was expecting more adult toys, and there were basically none. wasn't in the mood of with time for a regular museum. granted, this was more interactive, but still got almost only expeditions and kids toys. nothing compared with London or even Lisbon.
