  • I took my four year old today. They were queueing out the door which made me worry about how packed it would be, but once inside it didn't feel overly busy and we had no queueing for cafe or toilets. ...  more »

  • Good place to explore with kids. Plenty of space and spread out over several floors. Good location near town with a large pay car park next door. However, extremely dated with many interactive items within sections broken. Sorry management guys but attention to detail is needed here as it spoils it. If funding is the issue, surely another funding round to update this place is in order?!
  • After 3pm it was half price entry, which meant you had a couple of hours until closing time to look around. This definitely wasn't enough time to look around everywhere but it definitely made the trip a lot cheaper and we still enjoyed it! My only issue was how high up in the building it was, I'm terrified of heights and you could see how high up you were on the stairs and the elevator was glass so you could see as well; but I'm massive baby when it comes to heights
  • My autistic son visited today with his two carers. His carers got in free which was great. The food was good value and good portions. Planetarium was a hit. It was just unfortunate that most of the items were broken. Come on guys, if you are charging the amount you do then you need to make sure the exhibits are in working order.
  • Great place to explore with lots to see and do. Fantastic building. Informative & Interesting place to visit... with a great playground for the kiddies. There is also a nice cafe here where they serve a good selection in a friendly environment. The staff are happy to help with orders and drinks etc. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
  • Nice place for children til age 12. Lots to learn and play. Not suitable for toddlers and adults. Planetarium is basic not for adults. Food court / cafe is good. Overall the place is good with staff helping and courteous. Good things is that they sell actual 65 million year old fossils fish, shells, shark tooth and Dino poop. Good for collectors.
