  • A relic of the waterways that saw so much industrial work Gas street Basin is now a delightful venue set just off Brindley Place and offering canal trips and eating venue.
  • It's too bad that our walk have occurred in December. Very nice all the same. A true back in time with these very narrow barges, these panels in the middle of intersections of channels that indicate various destinations by water. Very quaint, very quiet. One of the most beautiful attractions of the city of Birmingham. And the owners of some barges made of floating shops. It is full of lessons to converse with them. When it's beautiful, it's essential. And the walk can take the time you want, from several minutes to several hours, depending on the distance you wish to browse, directly from the city center.

  • This is the heart of the British canal system. It was built to support industry but now is a brilliant venue for strolling, eating out and just relaxing around the water.
