  • This is a proper locals market for those who live locally and want food/ odds and soda. I generally buy my meat, veg and fruit here and is quite good value - cheaper than Tescos/the like. Also I bough...  more »
  • I come here all the time. The dodgy looking cafe is great, the nut stall is worth a visit but the real business here is the meat. The butchers located cover everything you would want from halal to old...  more »

  • Both indoor and outdoor markets have a range of different stalls with good value items for sale. The market police and inspectors are always patrolling about to ensure the fruit and veg are up to standard so you don't get ripped off. The cleaners are cleaning the market all the time. All in all nice place.
  • A fantastic market with lots of fresh produce at very good prices. If you're able to make use of this market to do your food shop it's worth it; you'll get far more fresh food for your money than you would at a supermarket.
  • Best place for bargins best quality burgers/curry n chips from "The Blue Van" in Open market Great place for fruit veg ..... i just love this place you should too come get your bargins now
  • A bustling market full of fresh produce in the heart of the city. This is the best place to buy your fruit and veg, great variety and really good value. Use it or lose it.
  • Very cheap for £1! What else do u want??? This place is very crowded at all times when in operation and there are bargains to be found if you possess a good eye for little deals to be snapped up in an instant. The stalls are NOT that hygienically clean! I mean every night, I see beggars urinating etc on these. Trust me not a pretty site regarding fresh produce being sold to me and you on them. Cleaners wash them down with water, but they need bleaching very strongly in my opinion.
